The MATRIX range is now enriched with a new line of communication accessories designed to make UPS monitoring and management even more advanced, accurate, and reliable.
This update covers both hardware and software and marks a major step forward for partners and customers looking for more modern tools for remote control, environmental monitoring, and infrastructure protection.
What’s new in the MATRIX accessories range
New SNMP-NMC-G2 card
The new SNMP-NMC-G2 replaces the previous SNMP-NMC-G1 model, bringing tangible improvements in security, connection speed, and ease of use.
From a security standpoint, the SNMP-NMC-G2 includes advanced features such as secure boot, hardware encryption, encrypted firmware, a secure enclave, secure REST API, and a configurable firewall, delivering a higher level of protection for modern IT infrastructures.
Performance has also taken a significant leap forward: the new card supports network speeds up to 1000 Mbps, enabling faster communication for monitoring, diagnostics, and remote management tasks.
Further enhancing the user experience are the new HTML5 interface, SSH support, and a Linux-based platform, all designed to simplify configuration, maintenance, and automation.
The SNMP-NMC-G2 also remains compatible with key protocols, including SNMP v1/v2c/v3 and Modbus TCP, ensuring business continuity and seamless integration with existing architectures.
New EMD-HT-C-G2 environmental monitoring device
Also now available is the new EMD-HT-C-G2, compatible with the SNMP-NMC-G2 and designed to provide even more accurate environmental monitoring.
Temperature detection now offers a maximum margin of error of just 1%, further improving on the previous model, which provided 2% accuracy.
WinPower G2
The monitoring software has evolved into WinPower G2, compatible with both G1 and G2 cards to ensure continuity of use and a smooth transition between different generations.
SPS2
The System Protect Software has also been updated and is now called SPS2, completing the renewal of the range dedicated to system protection and management.
